I had the new tube working well cutting at 18mm/s @60%. Best we've had it. But apparently hadn't tightened everything, so it lost it's will to live and wouldn't cut at all. It's usuable now but only cutting at about 10-12mm/s depending where you are on the bed. The current plan is to let people use it and check that it's at least staying on that level of cutting and then I'll try to get it to it's full power. FYI. The tube is slightly different so we're limiting cutting power to 60% to extend the life of the tube please. Any questions or if it's lost all power please give me a shout. 14/02/2023: New tube fitted. Cooler coupling replaced Telegram (Ian B): The laser cutter is having a new tube fitted this weekend. We need to get a spare part for the cooler, so its likely the cutter will be out of action this Tuesday and Thursday. | |
