Yes, good on you. Let's do it!
The old question is 'what happens if you get hit by a bus'
Which poor sod is going to keep it working, or spend their time working out what you did?
We'll give you the space to try things out: You can have your own server to do so, ask Andy You can have a 'test' server before it needs to be permanent
A willingness to maintain this thing - you own it now.
I'd ask for:
- Documented process for install
- Same for updates
- Should 'just work' e.g. no manual intervention on rebooting the server
- Clear list of files to backup
If it's no longer of interest, that's fine. But be active and kill it, don't make the next person have to decode it.
