You want RML to do something with computers? (Light rules MK1)

First off

Yes, good on you. Let's do it!

But

The old question is 'what happens if you get hit by a bus'

Which poor sod is going to keep it working, or spend their time working out what you did?

What's on offer

We'll give you the space to try things out:

You can have your own server to do so, ask Andy

You can have a 'test' server before it needs to be permanent

For 'Permanent'

A willingness to maintain this thing - you own it now.

I'd ask for:

  • Documented process for install
  • Same for updates
  • Should 'just work' e.g. no manual intervention on rebooting the server
  • Clear list of files to backup

Removing

If it's no longer of interest, that's fine. But be active and kill it, don't make the next person have to decode it.
